Dimensions are:

L- 55.25" (4.6 ft)
H- 96" (8 ft)
W- 26.75"(2.23 ft)

I think a 400 watt light would be good, but i'm worried about having heat problems. And, I have no idea what size fan I need. I'd like to buy an inline fan, but squirrel cage will do too. Any opinions? Thanks.

400 should do fine 600 is more efficient and more light cant hurt....i run a 400 and 150 watt in a closet, the 400 is cooled w/ a 4 inch inline and i have an exhaust and intake for the closet.......keeps temps livable, little bit hot in the summer months. I have to run AC in the room anytime the outside temps hit 90 or higher.

400 watt is fine, 600 is a little bit to much probably. just get a four inch inline and pump it out of the closet you will be chillin

4 inches will be appropriate for a filter of the same fitting size. You want to exchange the volume of air within like 5-10 minutes or less for best results.

600 isn't overkill for that kinda space? would i have to use a cooltube?
Not overkill, yes you probably would need a tube and inline fan.

My inline fan pulls air from from the light through ducting, I have a small Walmart fan feeding fresh air from outside the closet through the ducting. I run my fans for the light nonstop w/ the light. They are on the same timer as the lights..
I can have plants actually touch the glass and not get burnt

Grew in my closet that was slightly larger for years with a 600w and 400w side by side and an 18" fan blowing over the tops, air hitting the back wall and self-exhausting out. Want to see?
