How big is your grow?

I'm just looking for some insight into how big everyone's grows are. I mean, could you do 3,000 watts and not get busted? 5,000? Plant-wise, what is riu averaging? 10 plants? 50? 100? How long have you been growing at your current size? Curious about how big you can get while staying under the radar.

I don't think you will get many people here bragging on how illegal they are.

Some in CA can run up to 100 plants, that's sick

I myself run only 7 like my state says I can...

Yeah, I figured that but hope some people will. I'm sure that over the course of their membership on riu they have given away nearly all the info about their grows scattered all over. I'm still on my first plant (papaya from nirvana) but hope to increase that to 6-12 by the end of the year. I'm only working with cfls now since I have limited space and funds and I need stealth. Once I have a bigger place I was probably thinking 20 plants.

Yea i dont think alot of people are gonna be telling you how much, and all that...

As for staying under the radar, id say Under 25 sq. ft, or under 25 plants and under 1000watts.

We did 11 of the 30 we could do outside. Inside I shoot for 7 and 7 give or take. I was more worried about rippers then the cops. At the end I could see the grow from the main road.

I'm in cali about to start 160 plants running 1800w in my 4 person townhome. I know someone whos been running 8000w in a regular townhouse for over a year with no problems.

Damn llewop, 160?! That's ridiculous. Spanishfly, what are the laws/norms in Spain for weed?

@everyone: thanks for responding!

@stumps: how much do you yield from 7? And how many watts for that?

You are allowed to grow here for your own use.

I used a 4 X 10^26 watt hydrogen fusion light and I got 44 ounces from my 3 plants.

i run a 400w hps in a closet and keep 3-4 plants in there during flower. i also have a small tent i just made with 350w of t5 lighting and this is where i start seeds and clones and do my vegging and whatnot. right now i have 7 plants in the tent and 3 in flower in the closet.

cfl's for veg 280w. hps 400w and 3-42w cfl's for flower. yeild sucks at around a qp. I pulled a qp off two limbs for a outdoor plant this year.
Three plants outdoors this year yeild was something around 1000g.

That's pretty cool, thanks for the responses again. I can't believe what a difference an outdoor yield has. But I suppose its also time, right? I mean. If I were to veg a plant from april to august and flower through September and october indoors that the yield would be as big, if not bigger right?

if you have big ass pots. I have a freind that does that. I think his yeilds are a bit smaller then what I got in the ground. my plants where the same clones he grew. my plants where about 8 months old when they went in the ground and had been moms.

my outside is over 2000 plants... little more little less..

500 in 3 green houses and thousands in the woods in the ground.

my inside is a 4x4 tent, to play with.

GODDAMN! How extensive does the root system get? I'm using a rather smallish pot, I think 3 gal, but I only vegged for a month. Only hoping for an ounce, think 3 gal will be good enough?

it's not just the veg time. indoor lights (even high watt ones) just don't have the penetration capacity of the sun. even when talking about the most dialed in grow ever, it just never quite compares to the windy freshness of the outside air, the almost infinate space for roots in the ground, and the big yellow sun. there are plenty of drawbacks like bugs and stealth and weather, but if all goes well an outdoor plant in the ground should always outyeild the same plant indoors.

a month long veg in a 3 gallon should definately get you at least an ounce as long as the vitals are in check. a lot of things would have to go very wrong to yeild less than an ounce, even with cfls.
