Hey,

Its my first grow and my 2 plants are about 7 in. tall. However, the pots they are in are only 1.5 gallons. Im not sure how long i should wait to flower them because i don't know how much room they're gonna have in the pots.

????????

I'd flower now with 1.5's. The plants will only grow until their roots fill the pot's, then will slowly stop. Assume that wider pots will grow wider plants, and taller will grow taller.

The plant will only grow fast if it can support itself.

I flower at about 12 inches. But thats because I'm a fan of the ol' more small plants than less big ones SOG style principle.

Naw son. Smaller pots just mean you'll have to water them more often than larger pots. They'll still grow the same size. Flower them whenever u want, just remember they will double in size during flowering.
And be careful who's advice u take on this site. Some ppl just talk out of their ass.

this is what i was convinced of also, but everyone seems to say that the plant will get rootbound (alot sooner than ive seen) and stop growing. i am a firm believer that if taken care of correctly, you dont need huge pots to grow good sized, healthy plants. if i am not mistaken, i have seen fdd make a statement to this effect? anyone got pics of large plants doing well in small pots, or proof otherwise? appreciate it.
