How Big Can Plant Get in a Solo Cup?

Ok, so here's my situation. I have a large space 3x3x7 for flowering. However, my vegging area is a little small. About 15 inches on height would have to include the medium.

I am wondering what do you think would be the best way to veg the plants in that amount of space? I have a t5 in there right now. Any help is appreciated.

Just start them out in 4" square pots. they are bigger in capacity - about 1.8pt vs. 16oz, 16oz=1pt. and sometimes a lil shorter than a solo. I think they are perfect. Good luck.

I grow perpetual and have 2 sperate "rooms" like you, mine are both a little bigger.heres what I would do.

Id start them in your veg chamber, once they outgrow that chamber move them into the flowering chamber on a veg light cycle and allow them enough time to give clones.

Take some clones put them into the veg space and then flower those "mother plants" in the flowering room by switching that room to 12/12. If you keep taking closes as they go into flower you can have a crop at whatever time interval you choose.
I was flowering clones as soon as they rooted and it works great in a SOG type of grow.

With your limited veg space a SOG grow seems like the best choice. You should also consider LST with you rlimited Veg headroom, maximize your yields.

T5HO? One fixture, or just one bulb? It would, but it would not be very dense and very stretched out. Supplement with some CFLs and you'll be fine. Make sure your in the 5-6500k range.

I'm talking about 1 fixture w 1 light. In not sure about lumens. I will definitely look into getting it up to 65k. If I can get this little room to grow a somewhat dense structure that stands 12" tall I will be all set.

My bulb is 3500k lumens. So if I get one more it'll be at 7000k. Will that grow a dense structure for flowering? How long does it usually take to get a plant up to a foot using this method? I'm using FF feeding schedule at 1/2 strength.

I don't know because I've only ever used a 400w MH light to veg.
