How am I looking for a late late late start? (British Columbia Wetcoast Grow)

Just looking for some constructive criticism. One thing to keep in mind, I would have started these in March/April but I just bought a new house and was forced to start late (July 6th to just have something in the ground, we tend to have late summers here) because of that and also had issues germinating seeds. but yea here goes nothing.

The soil is my own personal mix of perlite. sea soil, coffee grounds(/w cinnamon for pest prevention) coco husk, and my least favorite part fish fertilizer enriched bark mulch. I usually get pretty good results but this late start has me questioning a lot of things. lol

You won the first battle, no matter how late you got them in the ground. Now I would definitely get that in a larger pot or in ground to have any shot at some sort of harvest.

Understanding the sunlight cycle will help you better understand how much veg stage you need to have a larger plant to flower, if female. Sun is your best friend right now. Lots and lots of sun in a larger pot/in ground.

Thanks guys, My plan is to transplant the plant it right into the ground in the next couple days here just waiting for the plant to grow a few nodes higher.

So looks like it has to go into a pot for now I don’t want it t going directly in the ground in the spot I have this year I’m going to build a raised bed next year but yeah , I put it into a 17 inch clay pot. I just put a Deep Mandarin CBD into a 20 gallon planter filled with organic soil yesterday. Had it inside under my lights for a couple weeks.

Hey looks awesome, such a funny leaf structure for a CBD strain, but hey it looks super healthy!

All three of my CBD are looking great. The big ones CBD Rene. The one in front of that one is Cali Kush. And the other is the Deep Mandarin.

Looking forward to trying them out!!

Yeah me too, the sunshine coast is on fire right now, perfect weather, it's a bit hot but the wind keeps it the greenhouse cool.

Do you have a grow journal made? id like to follow your grow.

I'm in BC also. My plants are starting to pre-flower nicely here in the Okanagan. I'm sure your plants will do fine. When you start them seems to matter so little compared to when they finish, which is our problem up here in Canada. I use clover as a cover crop, even in pots. Puts nitrogen into the soil (which your plant look like it needs a bit more of), shields the soil from the sun and stops water from drilling holes when you water. It also promotes lots of healthy bugs and organisms on your soil surface. I'd remove the leaves you have that are drooping down into the soil. Good luck with your grow, I'll check out your journal later in the fall. I'm a metal head too!!! bongsmilie

Thanks, man since this picture I've actually taken the bottom 2 most branches as clones and have been feeding it with a 4-4-4 every second watering but im thinking about giving it another Epsom saltwater tomorrow. it's starting to show a lot of preflowers so I'm assuming it's just going to blow up soon. ill have new pictures tomorrow. The clones actually took instantly too, 1 hour of droop shock before being domed/ trimmed. gave them a dip of honey and cinnamon when i cloned them and they live furiously.

Not sure why but doing it this way with glass jars (minus the honey first time doing that ) has always given me success . They are about a week in there will be putting them in a 1200 watt led grow here in the next week 4E444690-3127-497F-9520-4314D93200FA.jpeg
