How am I doing?

Hey all - i have a Hindu Kush 1 week old seedling. It was been recieving a mixture of window light or 55 watt flourescent light w/ 2 bulbs (one blue, one red) in soil for now. 400 Watt HPS + ballast in the mail. I made the mistake of over watering initially but she is doing better now. Looks about 6 inches tall with just a few 1.5ish inch leaves? Afraid it may be suffering from potassium deficiency to be of that height and sparse in the leaves department?? Transplanted after 6 days from 12 ounce cup to real pot approx 6 inch in diameter.

Today, looks like it was attacked by my cat. One leaf is chewed pretty heavily - the stem was bent in half completely (back to potassium deficient?). After recovering from my intial feelings of shock - i gently stood up my top heavy and injured seedling and have strapped it to a ballpoint pen.

From what i have read I think it will be ok? Will continue to be conservative w/ the water - and work on the pottasium. Think she will be okay?

Other plant is 2 day old (since germinating and being planted) white widow same setup - - still in 16oz cup. Starting to sprout - has the little disc leaves w/ tiny little pointy ones. Much lighter color than the greener hindu kush. Cats = definitely banned from grow areas now. Anticipate better results with greater conceptualization for water amount, lighting etc.

(Also been on a 12/12 light cycle - sounds like i need to switch it to more like 18/6 until vegatative stage)

Comments/Feedback let me know!! Feel free to IM any time!

yes go to 18/6 on the light and give your girls some time to rebound from the cat attack.
