How am I doing?

I've never heard of using MH at the end, I was under the impression that the HPS was the best light for flowering.

Apparently if you use the HPS for most of the flower cycle you get nice fat buds, but the MH will give you nice crystals and resin. I'm not sure if it works,I have never tried it and I might not. I will try to find the page where I saw it written. Somewhere on icmag some dude grew with MH and the crystals on his buds where just insane!

Can anyone confirm if this works?

I have heard of guys using both, to maximize all the possible light spectrums on the plants. I know that red and blue are both good even during flower so maybe. Could you through both lights in for the last week or two? That would prolly be sweet!

Well right now all I have is one 250w HPS, and a digital 600w ballast with a HPS and a MH plus some 6500K CFL's. I guess I would have a little bit of both warm (HPS) and cool (CFL) spectrums.

Well the lights went on this morning at 8 am. I was worried they would be affected by the long dark period but all the plants are looking good (minus one underwatered plant). Pictures as soon as I get batteries.

Alright....
If it matters hindu kush has a 8 week flower period
NL x Skunk has 7 to 9 weeks
Blueberry Skunk has 8 to 9 weeks

Right now I have 1 female NL x Skunk and what I believe is a Blueberry Skunk female. I really should have labeled all the plants.

you should know if you over or under water man by now... pick them up..light or heavy... water when they are light to pick up... Get yourself a soil meter from HD for 7$ ...it will tell you the soil ph too...

Got any fans blowing on those?... the do look like they are protecting themselves... they look a little dry..but then they look overwatered... Water in small doses... cover the top and move on to the next plant... when you are done with all of them.. say 5 -15 min... come back and do it again... I use in 5 gallon buckets about 1/2 a gallon on each watering... That 1/3 gallon for 3... fill 1/3 gallon for 3... fill 1/3 gallon for 3 .... fill.1/3 gallon for 3... 6 plants..

Good luck man...

get some fans blowing on them at all times... hang a big one with chains from the top... dont you look at others pics?

I do have an oscillating fan blowing on low (which is actually pretty high). I think I only have 4 females out of all the plants, pretty shitty but it's okay I suppose. The reason I have so many males is because all but one of the Hindu Kush were males and mutants. The female hindu kush is truly beautiful and I can't wait to have a Hindu Kush mother going.

The thing that gets me is that my watering schedule makes me think that there is no way it is overwatering, but the leaf tips are curling down and the plant isn't perking up. I do lift the pot to double check if it needs watering and I water when it gets pretty light.

I'm about to germinate 5 more hindu kush plants and I am going to keep the strongest female as a mother. I hope I don't have the same mutant situation with my other pack of hindu kush seeds.

I'll post pics in an hour or so...

Well there are 5 plants now and I think the last one is going to be male.
4 plants under a 600w can harvest a qp pretty easily, no? I hope I can pull it off.

The plants are smelling great and I'm starting to see and smell the buds forming.
I'm trying to upload the pics now...it takes forever with the new camera.
