This is my first grow ever. I dove straight into DWC and am loving it.. lol. Listed my setup below, with some pics, how am i doing?

My Setup:

x2 Speed Haze Clones, Transplanted from soil to DWC

3 x 2.5 x 9

600 Watt MH/HPS (about 18 inch above canopy)
x2 10" net pots with hydroton, in a tub (water about an inch below the pot)
4 inch intake, 6 inch exhaust and filter (temps 68-88, humidity 34-57)
Air Pump, 3 large airstones
1 gallon frozen jugs (temps range from 58-72, NEVER higher or lower, usually mid 60's)
Fox Farm nutrients, fallowing the feeding schedule they provide but switching to GH nutes when i change the res. which is every sunday.
PH between 5.5-6.0

this weekend will be 4 weeks of veg, each plant is roughly 20" wide and 15" tall.. topped the back plant 2x and the front 1x.. planning on flipping to 12/12 sunday/monday.. was going to throw a screen on em but it would be a pain in the ass when changing the ice bottles. so next time. it needs to be cured and ready for smoke come January 15th. So how do they look? Thoughts? Yield Potential? This is for personal use, so i'm looking for a decent yield so i dont have to grow often. Thanks guys! Pics attached!

Yield is not as easy as it sounds, there are too many variables, it all depends on your setup, your feeding, lights, temps etc. as well as strain.

Thanks for the response guys.. Yeah, I understand the yields a tough one to answer.. Hoping for a 3oz absolute minimum.

It sounds like you know what you are doing, and the plants show it. Nice work. Oh, and that part about not growing that often will turn out to be bullshit if this grow is a good one. You won't want to, or be able to stop. It is one addicting hobby. Peace

Only suggestion I got for now is keep calm on the nutes and keep the water temps good. Your plants are looking good :-) If you just coast along smoothly you will yeild way more than 3oz even with a low yielding strain. Dont listen to that little voice in your head telling you to hit em with more nutes, main rookie mistakes= giving the plants too much.

I think your timing for flower and the available space you got sounds good. If things go well you'll be wishing you installed a layer or two of trellis netting ;-)

Good going with the 600w btw! I love me 600ws of love.

Hello

First time here as well curious as to what experts say about this grow.
6 weeks into flowering.
I've started to flush with 1/4 strength of big bloom and ph'd water.
Reservoir change once a week.
Does this plant look normal? PH always between 5.5-6.5.

The leaves seem to be curling downwards now, any reason why this would happen?
Does this plant look normal?
what about buds?
Should the leaves and the overall plant be this thin and not ?
Any thoughts as to how much longer till harvest?

Thank you! way more than 3oz? that would be badass! I really did put a lot of time in reading and learning how to grow before i even bought one piece of equipment.. as for nutrients, thats exactly what i had read.. so i to ok it really slow on the nutrients (too slow actually) and babied them until i was caught up to FF scheduled dosages. they seem to be pretty close to right though, they have been staying right at 1050 ppms. but i will admit i am very nervous about switching to the GH trio tomorrow... just paranoid i think.. im going to start them at 2/3 the recommended dosage for the first week and if all is well ramp them to the full schedule the next.. as for the netting, man i already wish i was going to put it up, but considering i have to change out the ice 2x a day which requires me to lift the net pot out of the tub, into a bucket.. the screen would just become a huge pain in the ass i think.. but next time i will for sure have one on somehow.. hopefully itll be so packed in there that they hold each other up ;)

From what Iv seen the GH 3part does better than FF, just from what Iv seen from others. Rarely in dwc do the plants require full dose nutes, imo, only strain Iv run asking for full nutes and more was ak47 she just ate anything and everything, but also performed well at lower ppms. 2/3 strength sounds good.

Pulling one of theose plants out when they get double/tripple the size they are now is going to be difficult and maybe a bit much stress than they would like. The two plants will have interwoven roots which only becomes a problem when you decide to pull them apart for changing the ice bottles. Is it possible for you to just lift the tote lid and sliding the bottles in?

edit: not to mention your canopy should be somewhat interwoven as well.

Light just kicked on, they're 18" tall and 24" wide lol, 2 days ago they were 15x20 :)... was hoping they would hit 20x25 or so by 12/12... they've got 24 hours till the flip.

not really, those 2 ten inch net pots take up pretty much the entire surface of the lid.. as for taking the pot in and out 2x a day, idk, she doesnt seem to mind, shes actually thicker, slightly taller and has thicker, whiter rooters than the one that stay in the tote all the time. i will eventually wiill have another rez and do a RDWC but if i wanted to get this finished by my deadline i had to get it rolling and just ran out of time.. plus my space is so small ill end up puting the other res in the basement and pump up into the tub.. this is also a stealth grow btw. im thinking of starting a journal on it.. havent decided.
