How about this grow space?

I was told that for a good CFL small area you can hide away in your closet, I could easily convert this in my closet grow box.

Some mylar or white paint on its inside
and some CFL lights about 4 bulbs at 2700 lumen each.

4 feet tall and i think 2 feed wide, 2 feet deep.


24x21x48 i think would have to double check. that is 4sq feet 14 CU/FT

which would grow 2 good plants each having 2 lights 2700 per light. (5400 lumen per plant im told is plenty for a CFL op.) 10800 total in the box

sounds like it will work if u dont let the plants get to big.

my advice (u dont have to take it) would be, get 4 cfl's of daylight spectrum (65000 K) for vegetative growth (first month or so)

then when u want to flower, switch lights to 12 hours on and 12 hours off and use warm white (around 30000 K depending) for the next 8 weeks or so.


the daylight bulbs will help ur plant grow strong and bushy, and switching for flowering will make sure ur bud isnt all leafs.

also i have found that if u have a computer fan or some small fan blowing on the actual lights, it will help keep things cool.

Devastation

Ended up making a 2hx2wx1d cab, getting that in order and squared away.
Will get a tent later on down the road, the cab will do for now, thx for your help.
