Housefly wigging out under 90watt UFO!

I have a starter tray of garden seedlings on a heating pad, under a 90watt UFO. I was checking them earlier, and a housefly cruised past me. As he went under the light, he dropped like a rock and landed on the medium. Then, he flips on his back and just starts spazzing out. I got a video of him with my phone, but that LED light makes it almost impossible to discern. Curious, I left him there. This was about 20 minutes ago...

I just checked on him, and he crawled from the tomatos (where I left him) to the habaneros (3 peat pots over). He's currently perched on the side of the peat pot, facing straight up into the light and he's not moving. His entire body has turned grayish. Kinda strange.

So I'm wondering...have any high-power LED users had pest problems? My buddy grew 2 decent-sized cabinet plants with a UFO. No pests. And he had the cab open during all light hours with 2 large dogs in the house. He also left the window to the room open often.

Just curious.

UPDATE:

Just checked him and he was laying on his side, on top of the medium in the peat pot he was previously perched on. I "poked 'eem widda steek" and he spazzed out for a sec, then uprighted himself...still chillin there.

That damned light makes me see green everywhere I go. Flies have how many eyes? Would be sweet if it affects mites & other pests as well. I dunno...I'm high.

Well...I'd forgotten about the bastard the following day and since it was warm, went to put my seedlings in the driveway.

When I pulled the tray from under the UFO, the fly took off. There was nothing for him to eat on that tray....was he tranced out? That was a long time to be sittin in the same square foot...especially for a fly.
