house plant fungus help

I hav a few plants inside (ficus, Meyer lemon tree, aloe) that have been showing some varying of fungus (septoria). It's pretty much everywhere here around my house and REALLY annoying.

Looking for some advice on what to use on my non-cannabis green friends.

If you have something that works well and is eco, person and pet friendly I would love to hear about it.

I use Southern Ag garden friendly fungicide on all my plants, indoor and out, as a preventive. The smallest container of it is $7.99 or so on amazon. I would treat it with something like potassium bicarbonate first, then spray it with the biofungicide a week later. Potassium bicarbonate can burn some plants, so it's best to test a small branch or leaf first before you spray everything down. If you have citric acid on hand, that's another option. Try one teaspoon per liter of either of those (just not together lol), and add a drop of liquid soap to help it coat the leaves. You might need to treat it every other day for a week to get rid of a bad infection.

I was looking at potassium bicarbonate or copper like Monterey liquid copper

I like the soap idea, outside I use a tablespoon of neem oil and Dr. Bronners per gallon and that seems to work well in veg but I don't like the smell for inside so much.

Cover in sand then elevate your pot 1/2" on a tray with insecticide soap in.They'll go to your drain holes once sand goes in.

Sand stops adults from getting in laying eggs,it also kills larva from coming up through, their trapped.
Fliers have no choice but to go to your drain holes now so some insecticide soap kills them as they land on it.The spacer stop the plant from wicking up the soap.
Sand is cheap,safe and works immediately.

Fwiw, enjoyed the tip, been looking to rid some houseplants and moms of some gnats, gnatrol failed this round, been trying to figure out what to do down below, was just going to sit the containers into a pile.


Is there a reason to not use commercial type fungicides in this case?

How to deal with it: Isolate the plant and cut out affected leaves. Move the plant to a spot with more air circulation and light. Take it outside and spray the plant with a houseplant fungicide, following the instructions on the label.
