Yea I am startin a,massive, flo k of chickens. I've heard from many farmers chickens reek havoc on populations.
I use chicken manure as part of my compost each year, its the tits. Can work in tea's also, just have to be careful how much you use. I'll be posting pics tomarrow.

Weekly update. Week #8 The goods!

6 weeks old, finally starting to grow. Some leaf curl due to PH being off, around 6.5 to 7.0

8 weeks old, started to preflower yesterday. After the supercrop the main stem harden up and I couldn't LST it anymore without braking it. So its just going to have to stay where it is. I will continue to LST the branches though. Lesson learned, don't supercrop a branch if you want to use LST on it after.

Weekly Update. Week 9.

Little one grew a foot in a week. No signs of flower yet, should show up this week tho. I kind of hope it turns out to be male so I can get some seeds for next year.

Big girl was showing signs of root damage. Leaf tips turning white. I knew it couldn't be root bound. A little puzzled as what could be the problem, it dawned on me that the fencing was getting really hot and warming up the ground. Roots were burning up. So I top dressed with a bag of fert and put straw down. Should be fine now.

Big Girl is doing great. 3rd week of flowering. Getting a bit of yellowing at the bottom. Some is normal, some is due to under watering. Going to have to start watering every other day.

Just as a comparison here is a pic from a few years ago on Aug 11th 2012. Looking back over old grows really shows how much I have learned.

Thanks man! Just one plant this year, but its all prep for next year. Next year I will be expanding the garden, also get a much earlier start, should get 6-8 plants in that space.

Nice! expanding your operation is always fun. You can grow yourself different strains next year for different highs. I love variety

Next year I will be growing the seeds I get from this grow. Variety is great, but what i'm going for is breeding this one strain. In my experience it does really well outdoors here and it will be imprinted with the environment conditions, and should grow better with each year. Its just not easy to get good strains in my area.

Weekly Update. Week 12.

I pollinated the big girl this week and chopped the male. Has signs of spider mite, tharp and PM starting to show this week. So I went out and got a spray to cover all 3 issues. Should be good. Starting to see some trichomes develop. After 3 days of her getting pollinated, calyx's are starting to swell. Bud size seems small for being 4 weeks into flower to me. What do you guys think?
