hortilux or solis tek bulbs??

im preparing to purchase HPS bulbs for my upcoming flip and i cant decide between these two.
i want the hortilux for obvious reasons. the solis tek however i want because i have solis tek ballasts and they claim to have add uva+uvb. im very skeptical of the solis tek because i have mentioned them before in forums and have heard of failure issues.
part of me wants to go with chepo bulbs like plantmax cuz this is my first grow. let know some of your opinions. PEACE THANK YOU and HAPPY GROWING

Get both and try both. But I have never had a horilux fail on me yet. Been indoor growing for 4 yrs. And only had two cheaper bulbs pop on me.

Next bulb buy I'm just getting the cheaper ones as I'm going from 1000w to two 600w. Also running horilux right now

i got a package deal on solis tek 600 ballast and bulb. used it for a year. had no complaints. next bulb was a hortilux. seems a bit brighter but it has been tested as the best HPS bulb so i guess it should be brighter. both worked fine. i;d give the horti an advantage just seeing the results of actual bulb comparisons.

the solis ballast is awesome. well worth it!

thanx peeps....i think im goin to go with the hortilux. i definetly cant afford to buy both.....and they are for my tent so dont really want to put them next to each other

so did u get better results with the hortilux?

Bulb-Test4.jpg i have found my yield already drops after a year of use with hortilux shps 1k. Definetly the brightest bulb i have used though.
