Anyone have any information when I get my hands on these and how much they're going to cost.. I have two four by four tents right next to each other so I can definitely do an easy side by side.. but jumping up from 25 to 81 on the CRI scale is pretty significant statement.

It is also worth noting that the ceramic HPS that is on their website says that it has less than half the lumens of a normal hortilux 600 watt HPS bulb.... well I guess if it is running more efficiently, maybe it doesn't need the other lumens... I need answers

I know a 315w Ceramic Metal Halide bulb is said to perform between 400-600w (depending on who you are), either way in my experience they are spectacular. Point being I'm unfamiliar with ceramic high pressure sodium but I imagine theres a chance it could be similarly efficient watt for watt.

Other than that I don't have much more useful info I think, and that info may not have been very useful hah

If a switch to another HPS go DE with a BOSS acde reflector. Anything else is dust in thr wint other than LED

I would love to see a complete radiant flux graph for these. The IR side looks like it's pretty hefty and like it continues on for a while (which may be fine for blooming, particularly for short day plants).

It's not a true digital bulb . The hortilux runs on an e ballast not a digital square wave ballast. So it's not as efficient. The 315 has a higher ppfd and a higher cri.

I am trying to figure out what the purpose is. Is HPS/hortlux trying to innovate to keep up with LECs? Did Phillips NV patent LEC technology/bulbs? I know one or two others make LEC bulb companies but they may have to pay Phillips a royalty.
