horti-control dust shroom light proof?

im looking in to one of these to both keep light in and out as well as to keep the air coming inside the hood clean.

ive tried calling hydro shops and email ,nothing.no one knows...is any one out there running one of these..what do you have to say bout the light proof needed..

as you can see by the pic...the vortex fan sits out side the tent and the shroom would sit outside as well but on the other side..

i went ahead and bought the shroom...ill let you guys know how well it performs as well as its light tightness...peace

Are you getting that much dust in your tent? Also, can you raise and lower your light source with that set up?

no dust,just shit load of light leaking out the vent,wich is why i want the blackness of the shroom to keep it in,at the same time keep any dust away from bulb..

no,i cant lower it,but i can raise my 9 plants as needed. its inside a 4x4 and to top it off its 1000w,so my goal here was to get the hood as high as possible..with rope ratchets i lost bout 7 in of space wich plants could use..i figured im better off this way..i plan to veg for 2 extra weeks and will need al the space i can get..know what i mean

there awsome filters. i have one. no cfm loss what so ever.

ive heard there good..my main thing was light leaks with them..ill just have to find out for my self...ill post pics when set up
