i use to use (still have em) these large cfls i got from home depot. they pull like 68 watts ea, and are 300 watt equivalent, in a 2700k color. 14.95 ea. then for ten bucks each, u get a aluminum clamp hood/cord combo, and u have alot of lumens over what you have now. however, i have found if i go cheap, i allways move up anyway. heck. i grew for 2 years with a 600 hps. now its a 1000. at this point, is when i took down my 4 cfls. right now, they are getting hit with 155,000 lumins.

yea man head over to home depot... my home depot had maxed out at 68 watt cfl's but they were pretty huge and you got some space limitations. but home depot is a life saver, pick up some y-splitters like these guys were saying and put some bigger cfls in there. i bought a 4 pack of 23 w cfls for like 10 dollars at home depot. get them y splitters and some more watts in there and youll be good. as far as yield goes it wont be the biggest but as blue mystic is a low yield strain anyway.

well if you get that light and do good with your hydro aso.

I bet you can pull a oz per plant ..
but you can also easily fukc it all up and get next to nothing .. dunno .. depense on so many thing .. maybe some wher in between ?

I just know that with out more light you will get next to nothing .. even if the rest is spot on ..

do you have a PH and a Ec Pen ? btw
and did you do a lot of research about hydro/DWG aso. ? do you have the right nutriens for it ? and did you do the research ther aswell ? its not just NPK .. its also micros and trace elements .. stuff that helps the plant take up nutrines and stuff to balance things .. its a hole sciens ..

Yeah that box is extremely tiny for 6 plants, they will outgrow the space in another week or 2. I don't know much about CFL so I won't comment but those plants needs a lot more space!

Generally CFL's up to 125w can use the standard B22 (bayonet) light fitting (in the UK), 250w ones tend to be the E40 screw fitting. Another common fitting for CFL's are the E27 (Edison screw) fitting ... all are common, and piss easy to get fittings for when putting your setup together.

I ordered another 650w of CFL's for my CFL grow the other day, so now running over 1500w of CFL's across multiple light sources (equivilent to light 3 times that in incandescent). CFL's are a good light choice, but only if you over-do the lighting, rather than scrimp on it.

Can anyone tell me what those Y light outlets are called, trying to find them online. Also is it something I will have to screw into a socket adapter plug or can I plug it in. I'm working with a PC grow and I have more space for another bulb.
receptacle sir :)
