Horny Nodes

hi there.. i am new to the grow scene having only one notch on the bedpost, church and galaxy, now am growing big bang and have these horny nodes at the petioles? i havent seen this with my 2 other plants the last time and in my head there pre flowers or new growth and as they are femenised they must be but just to make sure can someone tell me that they are just pre flowers or new growth they only popped out a few days ago, ive put her into flower 12/12 regime with bloom booster and root boost, i can clearly see the stipules just to the side of the horns and want to know for sure.... iam just how you say ?????? paranoid

Those will eventually grow into new leaves or branches. Nothing to worry about.

no they wont.

What will they do then?

I had the same thing on plants, and it turned into new growth.

Unless we're all looking at different things.

Regardless, s/he should just grow it out and see what happens.

its the tiny horns on either side of the stipules im talking about, iam more towards the fresh growth at the minute but thanks for the help and anyone else got any opinions for me. ???? see the pointy things at the petioles either side of the stipules.

Could be preflowers?

Yeah i am now pretty sure its pre flowers as through vegging i have been using a higher p in, n p k which makes your plants pre flowers come out faster and its been 6 wks veg and now the 3rd day flip 12/12 flower and praise the gods of green i opened my light tight cupboard inspected my plant and yey theres preflowers all over the nodes and stems. 3 days is good as the last one took 1 week, i read that higher p feeding in veg brings preflowering on faster so i tried it and its true thats why i wanted to know if thats what the horns were. so id say try it yourself.

I just went into flowering the other day and after the first 12 hours of dark I had a plant with female preflowers showing already.. some of them are just ready to go.. guess they are kinda horny!

12 hrs is quick was it something you done or just the genetics strain, ive had pre flowers before on a limited edition from pyramid seeds but i never got the chance to see it through. it got confiscated and i got nicked haha, anyway good luck with the grow. what are you growing at the moment. mines big bang. It's some midgrade bagseed that I saved like a year ago. I was just goofing around and germed them and put them outside. 6 sprouted but then I made space for a grow closet so I brought them in. I have some ordered seeds, but I wanted to grow with a guinea pig batch I didn't pay $75 for to make sure my set up works. It does! So now I see what I get.

I have no idea why that one showed so fast but it had hairs at 2 nodes after the first 12 hours of dark. I'm hoping tonight I can ID more. I saw horns forming just before lights off this morning.

Yup my lady is 1 week into flower now and the people that said pre flowerr were right as the girl has exploded with pistils and calyxes a happy man i am thanks everyone.
