Hope someone has a patent on this!!!

Just found this on eBay. Has anyone seen these around at all? If you dropped 4x 40W 2900 lumen cfl's into this bad boy you'd be able to get 9600 lumen @ 160W over one plant. It's kinda' pricey($45) but I've already got a few ideas on a DIY one of these.

i never used those things , does the fitting get real hot cause the amount of juice your pulling

I aint gonna lie, that looks good! Id love that for veggin. 45 dolla seems cheap compared to hps.

i just lashed out a got a400hps and well i think its just awsome ive used mh ,cfl and the growth with hps is off the hook
ive got it set up with 4 big cfls and 400whps and amount of light is unreal
but i had to wire 5 plug sets ,that thing save you time and money

For sure that gonna save some dolla. Im running a 600w hps diamond reflector bought for £40. Bargin.
Im really interested in the 4x cfls though!

they say having cfl hps mh combos work well and 40pound foe 600w is a good deal
mine new was 180 aussie dollars with a cool tube

I dont think it would get hot....it says to run a max 40 watt bulb making the whole fixture 160 watts.

wow I hope I am not the first to say this but at wal mart or home depot they have splitters with a 600w capacity use three of them it will cost you about 6 bucks all tied together then put in what ever flavor cfl you use and boom your total watts cannot exceed 600 your set.

Its not bad at all but since only the ends would be pointing @ the plant you would loose so much light using that that it really wouldn't be worth using. Maybe having that reflective hood that goes with it would make it work though.

Actually for a cfl grow those would rule to sit ontop of your main cola's. so its up in the ^
