When using a Hookah, do you HAVE to use Hookah Charcoal? Or is the cooking Charcoal okay? I know this is probably dumb, so please no rude comments.

yeah, hookah coal is just simply better. Cooking coal doesn't taste so great, especially the mesquite variety, ewwww. lol

i think cooking charcoal is fine.. its just that the hookah charcoal fits better.. one time when we were out of the hookah charcoal, we had to use the mineral we use at barbecues.. those were some rough hits..

dont smoke hookah anymore though..

no.

dont do it man.

charcoal briquettes are bade from only partially carbonized wood fiber along with the charcoal, it provides a more consistant heat and even burn pattern.

but its still got alot of resins and various compounds that arent good to breath.

if you run out of hookah charcoal.
burn a stick.
poke your fireplace, probly lots of charcoal there.
hell you can make it yourself by the ton if you want too.

i read somewhere ash trees make the best charcoal for gunpowder,
becuase of the size of the pores of the charcoal grains or something,
but this i know nothing about, im kinda accident prone, and i like having fingers.
