i've only done it once so far; but i used Mexiblunt's diy extractor, (i used a 20oz dr pepper bottle) and about 3 layers of coffee filter, with one on the outside of the cap also. came out damn good, and looked like what everyone else's does

i have to try this! how do you get it out of the vials and where do you get those glass vials at ? also is colibri butane ok to use and how many oz's of butane do i use for 16 graim's of trim and or bud's thank's

colibi is a good one. use one full large can.

i could only get the 3.4 oz can that's all the cigar shop sell's but i did buy 4 can's how many oz's is a large can

i think about 300ml, that works for an ounce. it's about 10ml of butane per gram of trim.

i squirt it thru until it comes out clear. usually takes one large can per full honey bee extractor. when it starts coming out clear i stop.

i got them at my local pipe shop. i use a piece of stiff wire. a paperclip works.

thanks ffd another question if you don't mind in your thread when your stirring the the bowl is the next picture of the bowl the end product or did you already scrap the oil out

i don't stir the bowl anymore. some people do and call it "butter". it fills it full of air bubbles. i let it dry until it's crispy dry them scrape it out.
