I'm not current now, but i was certified forever 18gauge up to 3/4 plate. All welds all positions. We were usually using 60 series rod though. Usually 6010/6013

I had a hot one go down my pants once. It ended up getting all infected too! Allot of welds would be a quick type of thing. Plug in the buzz box, no leathers just gloves, and go.
