The Burping!

Hey guys, with no plants to look after anymore

I'm keeping myself busy inpsecting for PM (nothing yet), burping the jars, smelling the buds, and waiting for that magic moment when they're ready to toke. Amnesia is already developing a nice piney aroma, while Blue Cream is still smelling hay-ish and has a few more days to go.

Here's a little video of the buds burping after their first night in the jars (don't worry hippysmoke, they were only under the light for a few minutes so that I could take the video, then straight back to darkness under the bed lol)... I love how much weed I gots!

Yep I love that part. You have to sniff the jars when it's time to burp. LOL

Great vid. It's nice to sit back after your grow and say to yourself..."I did all that with little spiral lights?!"

The only sad part is we are coming to the end of the thread. Really nice job on both the grow AND the journal. Won't let me +rep you right now, but this has been a consistently excellent thread.

yeah man, i love that feeling, just looking at that weed, thinking about spirals, sniffing the jars... i could do that all day... not really, but close

thanks brotha! the g13 buds feel a little more dense than the blue cream, and are already smelling better. i might have over-dried (which is preferable to mold any day). and thanks for the bong reminder!

dread, when you put it that way, it makes me sad dude. i prefer to think of it as the thread is slowing down for a while and then at some future point in time it'll pick up for the next grow

LOL. Didn't mean to bring you down. This is great and I am looking forward to both the smoke report and the next grow. I have plenty of amnesia left and am even saving some of the LA Confidential for you.

Awesome man. I'll PM you so we can figure it out. Well this is not a real smoke report, but smoked a bowl of some dried shake and, it is very very nice. I want to let it cure before I give the full report but I can already tell the sativa and indica qualities of of the two plants...And they're already starting to smell nice!

That's what I like to do too. From my first grow I roll joints with my sour diesel (sativa) and purple diesel (indica), perfect balance! Tonight I sampled a litte amnesia first, did some work on it which is great, and the smoked some blue cream and got glued to the couch haha. Love this shit!

Amen. The DIY element is my favorite aspect of this thread. I love how Homer built his box, got the Dollar Tree hat(s) for the girls, etc. - it was inspiring. There is nothing like knowing the entire life story of the weed you are smoking. Or the food you are eating for that matter.

well said mimmen. i just grew a tomato plant all indoors out of a mystery seed, produced two large heirlooms and nothing else, but they were delicious. now i just have to learn how to fix my car lol.

thanks dread, nice to hear you say that. i'll take credit for the dollar tree hats, but the box was definitely inspired by concord dawn, and a lot of other ideas also from other RIU members. this is a great community and i intend to stay connected to it even during my grow hiatuses... thanks bro.

i'm letting it dry out in a little paper bag, but i don't know if i'm just getting my hopes up for nothing... any opinions?

it looks like a pod, I get those on some plants it may or may not have a seed in it but yes that is a seed pod (looks like one at least)

very tough to tell when they're fresh.... I can see a small dent on the thing inside the pod on the close up of it still on the plant, it looks so smooth and round inside there. that's why made me think seed right away. my fingers are crossed for ya!! and if it's not seed it's THC!!! it's a win-win!
