send me some ideas for a home made drip system. i got a 50/50 verm+ perl hydro mix in a 12'x6' pot?

I put an aquarium powerhead in a 5 gallon bucket. I found pvc that fit in the outlet and used that. I then found a cap and put that on the pvc pipe. Then I used an aquarium airline kit along with aquarium 1/4" tubing after drilling the right size hole in the pvc. Then I just ran house where I needed and controlled it with the valves that came in the airline kit. I also picked up some of those 360 degree sprinklers that fit 1/4" tubing at Lowe's to try some aeroponic stuff but I think they will clog up to easy.
This is what I'm using till I get some successful grows with normal plants which for some reason I've had no luck.
For the drip system I'm finding out it's better to put it on a timer for a set time everyday. Just think about instead of you watering the plant everyday, you just made it automated. My biggest problem with Hydro so far I believe is over watering so keep that in mind.
The best luck I've had so far was a DWC but I filled the bucket only a 1/3 of the way full and gave the roots all the room to hang in the air. I think it is close to aeroponics because the roots aren't in the water as much and the airstone breaking the suface water causes the roots to get a fine mist. The roots do eventually grow to the bottom.

I don't have any success with any except DWC so that is all I can recommend. With DWC remember to keep the water low.
Aeroponics is supposed to be the best way to go.
I'm still doing drip, and built an NFT setup but was going to use the sprinklers inside the NFT tubing to make it aeroponic and put it on a timer but my pump is weak and didn't have enough pressure to do all the sprinklers so I'll have to keep trying.
The most important thing is not to overwater and watch the PH, seems funny but it's true, when I was using the drip method into straight perlite everything died. I set it on a timer and trying again with better success because I'm learning just to feed the plants as needed instead of constant drip.
I'm still learning, if you want me to keep you updated send me a message and we can experiment together.

yehh im just switching from soil to hydro so its like a whole new book to me.
i have no idea when to water cause perlite always seems damp from when i water it till it drys up ahaha.

thats exactly what im going to do used bag weed seeds..Play with that and see what happens... I bought a drip system for 100 bucks with a light on ebay and other stuff cant beat the price...We shall see what happens... And yea def use a timer for ur drip system like LA9 said..
LA9 make sure u send me sum lettuce btw so i can make a sandmich
Once i get setup I will send pic's i got 6 seeds jus chillin here and im going to use them and see what happens... Good luck.

haha well I really wasnt thinkin of growing my own shyt so...6 seeds i came across the other day.. I will have more but this is my test and tune seeds..If i screw them up fuck it.. I have 20 seeds on the way sum blueberry yum yums... =)
