Home made Co2

ok ok, i wanted to do the 20# tank , i can get one for $$100.
but the regulator is more expensive than the tank...

until i could save up for a decent regulator, i would just get a long hose hook it to the tank, poke holes in it so it can run through all the plants...
so picture the plants sitting sideways and a hose with holes going across to where the soil is. then i guess i could just tun it on slightly, let it go for like 1hr.

hey fellow rollers do you have your tubes that are above your plant sitting in the yeast mixture in your bucket or just above the water level in your bucket or does it not matter.thanks:peace:

So here's a "what if" question. Say you have a grow tent and your on your 12/12 flwr cycle, but you turn you intake/exhuast fans off during the dark periods. Using fermentation as a CO2 supplement, you keep your bottles virtually sealed, so co2 builds up during the light period, shake vigorously and then release and seal inside the tent throughout the night or first thing in the morning. During the first hour of the photo period, you keep fans off so yo have environment saturated with co2 to drive the kelvin cycle. Just an idea i'm going to test out.

Hey guys...So i bought some champagne yeast on amazon and it had really great reviews but when I made my diy c02 thing it is just not building up pressure like the one I made with bakers yeast..The one with bakers yeast I shake once a day and after barley shaking it i feel all the pressure build up and it start hissing out c02. The new one I made with champagne yeast won't build up pressure or hiss...anybody have any ideas?? maybe I got bunk yeast??
In my original I used 2 cups sugar with 1 packet of bakers yeast and a liter of water
In the new one I used 2 tbsp champagne yeast with 2 cups sugar and a liter of water...

Please any help or ideas would be much appreciated!!

Hi there, was checking out a few of your grow rooms and it seems you use Co2 in there, i guess this is good for photosynthesis but I was speaking to skunk and he has his own home made Co2, was just wondering how you guys make this because I was thinking of doing it myself, much love :)

It's worth getting some yeast/sugar going in a lot of grows simply to get some Co2 in there. People underestimate how quickly plants use up Co2.
I'm in a tent in a spare room and notice a difference without one...
But for 1500 ppm...tanks is the sensible way to go...imo
