yea literally you think its that much but its hard to read what it truly produces. Doing the math on how much co2 is released with this method is just hearsay

I built one like this and put a fish tank hose in the hole and placed the other end up to the back of my fan, and yes its heaver than air so you could put it a little higher than the plant and it will fall on them

//no, not at all.. You can totally know how much is given off over the entire fermentation if you ferment to completion, and know how much sugar you used.. What we can't know beyond visual signs is how much happens early compared to late in the cycle.. But if you had 8 batches going, stagger started over 5 days, then that would generally stay pretty consistent

BTW, almost exactly half the sugar mass fermented is evolved as CO2 over the fermentation..

Yeah I've tried this CO2 method, within half an hour my whole fucking apartment smelt like a damn bread bakery...my room-mates were pissed...maybe a carbon filter would help solve this problem, but i doubt it

yea i mean i dont think that would do anything using a carbon filter and yea i know what you mean about that smell. I would just not use this method. Also the sugar does sometimes attract bugs.

well mushrooms put off a certain amount of co2 naturally. what if grown in a say rubbermaid tub and had one hole with a air stone filling the tub with fresh air for the shrooms and pushing out co2 to the plants. is it possible to directly run co2 to the roots through the nutrient solution?

I am still beggining learner just thought of a more natural way to produce co2 and getting a 2 for 1 outcome na mean

no clue on that one i grew a ton of mushrooms at once i have a thread somewhere. like i had about 12 casings going at once 3 to a bin and yea i know they produce alot of co2 but to keep the area sterile maybe be hard even with just a air stone and pump

well i use spawn bags and practice sterile technique to the fullest and use hepa filters and clean both rooms to keep contaminates down. thats why i was saying just have an one airstone in the grow area and one in the cube chamber for co2 and oxygen exchange have a meter and make sure all levels are optimal.

i was also thinking run the cube chamber mixed air/c02 through a dehumidifier to the grow room and have the exhaust go into the cube chamber.

they dont even have to be cubensis im talking normal edible shrooms.

hope i made sense

i guess i will have to try it out and see what results i get. if anything i got a co2 tank setup just dont know about always filling it up.

The problem with this system that it invites alot of shit in your grow room that you don't really want to.

I don't want my buds to smell like freshly baked bred or old bear.

more so the yeast and esp sugar creates bugs.....I was lucky my first time i used this i got nothing the second time i actually got spiders. Not spider mites...Big spiders and once i got rid of them everything was fine...Think about it...Its sugar in water bugs kinda like sugar/
