holocaust museum shooting

so if you haven't heard the news, apparently there was a man whom walked into the museum in DC and opened fired on a security guard, both injuring and being injured, the guard later died.

the man being James W. Von Brunn, a WWII vet and tied to white supremicy groups and anti-semite is up on charges for premeditated murder and possible hate crime.

what are your thoughts on this?

Premeditated murder makes since, hate crime is nothing more than attempting to dictate what thoughts a citizen must and must not have, and thus is the tool of tyrants, and socialists (whether they be International Socialists (Communists) or National Socialists (Fascists).)

The easy solution is to kill him as a murderer, I do not give a damn what deranged thoughts motivated him to kill in cold blood.

i usually agree with you TBT however as far as hate crimes go, this is as obvious as can be, known anti-semite/racist opens fire at the black security guard in a holocaust museum, i mean regardless he should be left to die slow in his hospital bed, not rejuvenated to possibly get only jail time.

he's lucky im not his soon to be judge.

no room no tolerance in todays world for bastards like him.

Hypocrisy does not demonstrate tolerance. One does not achieve tolerance by proving that one is even more base than the one you are trying to get to become tolerant, you get tolerance by showing people that their intolerance is irrational.

Bigotry is idiotic, but to try punishing it is even more so.

i think tyrants have been tolerated more than long enough.. they have been tolerated to the point of enslaving the population.what are you going to say when someone no longer wish's to tolerate at and commits acts of violence. it is his fault or is it the fault of the tyrant?

what is it that gentlemen wish? what would they have? is life so dear or peace so sweet as to be purchased at the price of chains and slavery!!! forbid it all mighty god ..as for me GIVE ME LIBERTY OR GIVE ME DEATH.
i wonder if how many of you understand how many men our founders murdered or killed on the field of battle on behalf of their country and your freedom?

The sad reality is that hate is prevalent in most of society and politics now... look at the way the right wanted to portray Obama as a Muslim 1st.. but to avoid my right side friends from throwing a stroke this isn't just a right or left thing, it's just a fact of the times.... there will always be those "nuts"...

seems the rights venom is a tad more extremist than most.. and there still are the "good ole boys", lots still active in the party.. Best to just let them tear themselves apart... they've already started...

Problem is (to get back to thread topic) that any sides extreme views will be a signal to some nut to act out... So preventing shootings such as this is a long shot when even our politicians can't be civil to each other... and in others a cat looking at them is the only trigger "they" need.......

Hate Crime laws are an attempt to punish people for their thoughts, are they not?

And as their thoughts are bigoted, is it not attempting to punish them for their bigotry?

The guy is a murderer and should be executed as all murderers, rapists and giant scale thieves/con-artists ($1,000,000+) should be. It does not matter what motivated him, as the person he shot is dead. If some one kills you, but perceives it as doing you a favor (and thus not a hate crime) would you be any less dead?

Whatever motivated him is not the issue, thoughts and words are not actions and deeds. Actions and deeds are what should be punished.

This will continue to happen. Groups of people will be demonized because of a few nutjobs. More pushing for gun bans and/or other weapons. They'll make laws against hate crimes. You'll be arrested for saying something cruel about blacks, mexicans, bisexuals, etc. Christians will be considered dangerous fanatics eventually, you will see.

And on the news, you will see nothing but domestic extremism, homegrown terrorists, and conspiracy theorists. Over and over again until the country is afraid to walk outside at night. It's interesting how the DHS came out with the Domestic Extremism Lexicon, just in time for these shootings to happen. Under the DEL, anti-abortion and psychotic veterans are considered terrorists. And what just happened recently? Abortion doctor murdered, guard from a holocaust museum is murdered. Sure does help prove Napolitano is right about domestic terrorists.


I know these lunatic shooters are on their own, but they are helping our government take over more of our lives. The more they kill, the more freedom we lose. They might even justify using FEMA Camps if the amount of "extremists" becomes alarming and a serious threat. By the time there are 10 or so shootings, they will consider anyone who reads conspiracies as a terrorist.

Now they have a reason to drag people from their homes. Domestic Terrorism.

I would only add to that
ANY Murder is a hate crime. You had to hate them enough to kill them for something. Thats like someone raping your mother she blows thier head off. The family sues her for a hate crime because she hates rapists.


NO ONES MOTHER SPECIFCALY JUST A THOUGHT...
