hollow bud steam good pic

i have bought a lot of bud in the past before i started growing and never seen hollow steams. this is my 4th grow indoors and 3 out of 4 grows my steams were hollow. i know this is a good thing. are your steams hollow. heres a good pic. of one of my buds.

That's wicked man. I don't remember seeing any hollow stems before. Has it happened on the majority of your strains?

hollowed stems are good.. my sativa are always hollow and most hybrids.. my indicas are usually solid though.. it really depends on the height of the plant then genetics

I've heard that hollow stems are from good neutrient entakes(correct me if im wrong)

i've gotten a bunch of chronic with hollow stems and the nugs were quite rather tastey too!

i also think hydo makes hollow stems alot more often then soil.. actually i think this is a big factor

the picture is of my indica and that you mention plant hight this plant was only 3ft and all my others were 6ft to 7ft and just the stocks were hollow. thats great info, thanks

A friend of mine with nearly 20 yrs growing is always tellin me how the hollow stems are the sign of good nutrient uptake and healthy plants. He says the bigger the whole the more nutrients reach the top of the plant therefor indicating a healthy girl.
