"Holland's Hope." Experience/Recommendations

Hoping someone can help me out with a personal recommendation I receive regarding an small outdoor grow for 2013. I was told that this particular strain was not only a strong outdoor grower but also resistant to many types of mites and other pests. I have done a little research on it, but I know there is a wealth of personal knowledge on this forum so any help would be appreciated.

Setup- 2-3 plants, all organics (following sub cools organic recipe), adequate lighting and I have personal experience with indoors, which need not apply to a large part of outdoor growing.

I can't speak to "Holland's Hope", but in general the weather in Holland tends to be cool and wet, and they have pretty lousy soil from centuries of overuse.

If something grows well there outdoors, it should grow well anywhere, I'd think.

In terms of outdoor grow, simple Skunk #1 was bred acclimated to weather in the USA, and that one should work well as an outdoor grow in most of the USA. In general, if you want to grow outdoors, you probably won't go wrong picking a strain acclimated to your particular area.

Outdoors you mainly need to make sure that your given strain is mold-resistant, because it can get rainy in the fall when the buds are heavy, and that the strain finishes up at least a few weeks before the first frost is expected.

Seems like a proper fit for a New England environment. I'd love to hear any personal stories regarding this strain, yields and response to LST pinching and topping I know some varieties are temperamental with stress, so far sounds resilient

I've narrowed it down to two strains for 2013. Both dutch-passion fems, and both should be acclimated well in a New England environment.

Pro's- High yield / Very Potent / Strong Outdoor Strain / (both) Mold resistant.... And with one 50:50 Indica Sativa and the other being a dominant saliva I think the smoke will be varied and equally rewarding.

It grows fantastically out in the cold and wet in Tasmania, I didn't have any issues with mold or any bugs or bud rot or anything... and if you find one that grows like a bush with spindly branches shooting off in every direction and no real main stem to speak of... she is a keeper. I'm just sorry that my first attempt at cloning was on her because they didn't take and god knows how many Hollands Hope seeds I'd have to crack to find that one again...

Since then I haven't heard anything good about dutch passion at all. Mostly people complaining about herms and low germ rates. Hopefully their seeds are fresh but it doesn't seem like they're very popular anymore...

Shit. I've only ordered through attitude so that's a bummer to hear. I'll have to check some other sources then I'm very interested in this strain
