None, as I was instructed to read the whole thread by noob, I found 3 posts of emotional swearing and ranting by our middle school compadre here. So unless temper tantrums are of value, he has failed to contribute value.

you can see blurple vs white side by sides on youtube. i watched one the other day. it was with lettuce though. i think it was done by migro.

no one rational would say blurples can't grow awesome plants... just a lot of manufacturers skimp out on drivers, use old inefficient diodes, and snake-oil marketing techniques. i've yet to see a fairly priced blurple light that uses quality drivers, modern top bin diodes, and advertises their lights with appropriate power draw and coverage recommendations. the good ones are incredibly overpriced and the bad ones are... well.. the bad ones. imo such a light could indeed to go toe to toe with some of the fan favorites around here.

Ya I agree, with 80% being red the photon count can't be that far off between the 2, and if top bins were used it could actually be beating white light μmol/j but idk if the plant wants 80% red?

I've seen migros side by side and was amazed at how well the cheap blurple actually did
