Doesn't sound like its a comparison so far, seems like two different grows.
Id like to see a pic of the mother/s and the rooted clones before they go under the contestants lights.
Ive seen on the GML show how excited Stephen is with his new design. Also how generous he is. Regardless which light wins (if this test is done properly) id recommend the HLG due to Stephens rep as a person. (no I don't own one)

This process began before i knew about the side by side. I will show all plants tom.
There are 4 for each in order to pick the 2 that are most even to eliminate variables.
You will see 2 sets that are pretty damn even. Those will be the ones used.
Starting this over from clone will highly disturb my main grow cycle & cost me harvested crop.
The room will be all white by tom night & there will be a white divider.
We will also see the HLG Triniti not Tryton , my bad.
Hopefully you will all agree the test will be fair & unbiased with even plants same size, age, mom, time of cut.

If we only clone 2 plants, about that. Then there's the separate feed & cycle which brings up other problems n just a hassle that could cause a toppling effect on my whole crop. Then the losses would be unbearable. Just not worth it.
But, we'll see how it goes this wknd. I really do want everyone to be happy but w/o compromising my life & main grow to much would be nice.

What if all this time he passed up the opportunity to grow with the best spectrum possible?

I was basically saying he's got about $3k+ in lights for free, but can't take the financial hit of starting over?
Link I bought (not free) 4 84x's to run in a comparison grow against an Rspec (free). And you?
If HLG was bitching about what I was doing, I'd be listening because he gave me a free light, so in a sense it is his grow, right? Same shoe on the other foot, though.
