There is a little temperature trick way too few growers know.
Run your room cold the first week of flower (some say 4 days), and it will stack on the purples and other colours for the rest of the grow.
Or just set your temp to 60 degree during your night cycle and you’ll get lots of purple.

yes , but you don't need to do it the whole grow or worse even get a limited version by doing it at the end.
There is no market for purp as a trait here so I don't bother, my rooms get cold enough overnight in winter.

The other benefit I’ve found to doing colder evening temps is that it tends to make your buds a bit more dense. But you’re right, there isn’t the market for purple bud like there used to be.

Lot of new members. Wonder if any aka Cammie. Must be getting paranoid. Sorry.
the timing is amazing. HGL goes AWOL and a very eloquent person with long winded responses about the virtues of RGB spectrum shows up

and in boilingoil's thread, i just had a convo with this guy/girl about Scammie being a boy and a girl depending on what's being sold and he/she has a daughter that is trans.

i think i better buy a lottery ticket today!!!

Especially where there is now legal market, purps will fall out of favor...
Before it was great for dark back alley deals, as it didn't take much more than a cursory look to ascertain the goods were purps indeed.
Many strains that can purple, tastes the fucking same regardless of the colour. And I think people caught on to that once the tasty purps started getting scarce.

HIs cover was blown.

even on the facebook page of hgl, she admitted that this resurgence in 2018 was merely a re branding and re launch of the same 2009 tech
burples are fine if they are cheap but the price should be 249$ us retail max for the bigger ones ..and $89 .95 bought in china

if someone made a blurple with mw drivers and cree and osram diodes and managed to sell it for like $1/w i would give it a try for sure.

like a blackdog led for 1/4 the price i guess.

are those diodes super expensive or something or why do these companies charge so much?

you should check out california light works. i had one of their first models and it was well made with quality guts. it was the solarstorm 400. i ended up selling it on ebay 4 or 5 years later for only 200 bucks less than i paid.

i almost went with their solarsystem 550 which has all kinds of cool features and it's pretty close to a buck a watt. their customer service is second to none.
