Hello all!
We are a newly licensed medical grower in Oklahoma, looking to get some opinions on a light setup.
In personal growing I have tried many different LEDs and we are sold on HLG products, love the quantum boards.
HLG is shipping 32 QB96 Elites this week so I can check them out, which has made my decision much harder to make; Before we were settled on 2 Triple heat sinks with 6 qb288s and 2 HLG 320h 54V meanwells on each in each 4x4. Our flower room has 18 4x4 beds to cover. That would spread 640W nicely over each 4x4. The only reason we didn't go with the HLG550 or the 600W kits is because we wanted to be able to spread out as needed since we are growing in 4x4 no till beds and the plants can not be moved around.
Now that I am considering the qb96s I have come up with two layouts that would cost us a similar amount but incorporate the added red leds.
4 QB 96s with a 600W meanwell or two 320W meanwells in each 4x4
2 Triple Sinks with 2 quantum boards on each and a meanwell 240w on each, plus a COB style row of QB96 Elites down the middle (either 4 on a 600w over two beds or 2 on a 320w in each bed)
Basically, should I go all QB96s or a mix of QB288 and QB96 Elite ?
Any maybe this is way overkill..? Maybe just 4 QB96 Elites and two 320W drivers in each 4x4..?
Any suggestions or input would be appreciated!
