What would be top of the better quality led lights out there that would be comparable to the hlg 550 v2 rSpec (heard this is a good led light) for led lights for around the same price range?
Some that you have tried personally/ have a close friend of that sort who uses them and achieves great results
1 150 solskin is about 220 of hlgv2

I have the Redwood's big brother in a 5x5 tent, it does generate some heat. Lately with just passive air in and my exhaust fan at about 25% it maintains pretty well, leaf temp at 78 or so. Sometimes a little hotter but from what I understand thats ok for LED.

Really?? Are you talking about cutters solskin or something else? Id doubt very much if you can find a 150w white led which can compete with 220w of hlg samsung diodes. It would mean you have found something which is around 4 ppf/j at board level which is more than the theoretical limit for white phosphor over blue leds. Do you have any actual documentation for this??

BcBlondes
Gavita
Amare bar lights
Cutters solskin boards

How do they offer any of this at such a good cost?
Hi MoFlow, how have you been? Nice find.
Look at the pre-assembled Par+ Boards. Wicked Cheap. Same with these cool strips.
These guys only in UK?

Wats up @hybridway2 ? All good here.
Diyleduk is UK based but he ships world wide.
Nice products he sells. Quite a range.
I bought a light offa him a while ago and some DIY parts too.
Those blue adonized heatsinks he has are sweet. They're pre drilled to fit most 2ft strips.
I'm liking the new look strips he is stocking now with the extra 660nm and 730nm diodes.

They are not questionable diodes n bins like the China ones but are that inexpensive? As they should be based on production cost imo but way under Competition, no?

does anybody know how many amps these are pulling? I tried to find for the 550 v2 spec, but can’t find how many amps

I believe they are at a good price point. He's gotta make a profit
An HLG 288 v2 board lm301b + Osram 660nm is on sale at 80 USD ~ £62 quid.
A Digikey Samsung Hinflux 2ft strip LM301B costs 32 USD ~ £25 quid x 2, £50 quid.
There is no price yet on diyleduks website for the new LM301B, Cree 660nm red + 730nm far red diode strips for DIYers as they only went into production a few weeks ago but I'd imagine they will be around £35 ish but don't quote me on that! Lol
For Uk-ers, EU-ers there's only shipping to pay, no customs and good warranty.scope v2.jpg
