HLG 300v2 dimmed to minimum, will i ruin my yield?

So i had some temp issues in my closet with my HLG led powered at 100% so i dimmed it via the adjustment screw as low as possible and got it about 2' away, and everything is better as far as temps, steady at 80F. Its obviously not nearly as bright/hot now but i have no PAR meter to tell exactly how much. Im scared to flower under this much light and get tiny buds. Anyone have any experience dimming theirs?

at lower currents yield/watt goes up, while yield/square foot goes own. Heat stressed plants yield low with poor quality, so you need to get past that

no reason to have your boards 2" from the canopy

get yourself at least a $150 hydrofarm meter, you'll be amazed how little you knew about the uniformity of light on your canopy, it will pay for itself right quick.

you'd have to check with a kill-a-watt meter how much power it is drawing. but i'm pretty sure those a-type drivers dim to 50%.

how that will affect your yield is tough to say without knowing your situation, but it will reduce the photons available to your plants by 50%, so....

2 foot away dimmed as low as it will go might keep them alive but wont grow good buds

get yourself a meter

also no reason to keep a hard limit of 80 deg with LEDs you have some latitude as your leaf temp is lower
