hi , I'm new to growing. At present trying an out door grow in a bid to learn something before I take the plunge. And have a target to beat. HLG 260 . R spec is where my head is and I've less than 3 ft space to fit. . . local weather would be between 3 and 18 . With highs 28 and lows -4 . High humidity most a the year. . I don't want a high electric bill . Use the light at 200 watts 100 for 2 fans . For 16 hours . In my newby state that's a fine idea. .

The hlg 260w kit will fit nicely, its more power than you need.
You only need to run it 150w in flower and half that in veg.

Do you mean 3ftx3ft when you say 3ft? I have a 260 in my 3x3 tent and it fits real nice and is doing a great job. If you are only talking about 3sq ft total, Corey is right the 260 is overkill but you can dial it down in power so easily I'd say go for it. Also, I'm in the US and don't use Celsius but I do know the 260 is not very warm if you are needing it to heat a space.
