I had seen the stats but hadn't realized how wide it was til I opened the box. All the other HLG drivers have the same profile width. This one is almost 4 inches across. I'm pretty sure there will be a T4-2100 this Summer. They also come in 2.8 and 3.5 amp versions and as low as .7 amps. This driver can probably handle 14 CXBs 3590s at .7 amps. Over 400 volts in the 700ma version... use caution as always.

All of the hlg-c's are in the same case as the original HLG counter parts if you need to plan ahead.

Hey
Love your tech talk videos on YouTube . How much does it affect driver efficiency if you run it at 50 or 60 % power? Does it make any real difference in power consumption or reliability?

I purchased 3 cxb3590's at 36v with the intention to increase the # of cobs to 5 driven by 1 hlg 240h-c1400b. My question is will I be driving 3 cobs too hard before I add the next 2 and if so would a potentiometer alleviate the risk? Thanks in advance.

With that driver you'll be wiring the cobs in series so they will each draw 50 watts whether you have 3 or 5 being powered.

Thank you for the clarification. Big help and for my piece of mind.

Run (4) 36V on a 240h-c1750b and call it good :bigjoint:
I am going the 5 cob route as I already have the 1400ma driver. Thank you for the suggestion though. I'm sure this will be pretty fantastic when all is said and done. Good lookin out guys.
