Hindu Kush, drip hydro, HPS

New Journal, second grow.

Okay my bagseed were hermies so I went all out and bought some Kush seeds from Nirvana, 8/10 sprouted, I germinated 5 to begin with 1 died and 2 didn't sprout. So now i have 2 that are about 2 weeks in front of the other 5.

So I'm looking for a female out of this lot. Any females will become mother plants as I'm still trying to replicate Al B's https://www.rollitup.org/hydroponics-aeroponics/6592-get-harvest-every-2-weeks.html but on a smaller scale til I get the hang of it.

Mothers - 130W CFL - 24/0 - Plantastic nutes - 1400ppm
Clones - 4x 18W Fluoros - 24/0 - Ph'd water and H2O2 50% @1ml/L
Fowering - 600W HPS - 12/12 - Dutch Master Gold nutes - 1400ppm

These are the first 2 seedlings under the 130W CFL. They are getting 1/4 strength nutes which will be bumped up as they need it.



These are the other 5 in my clone box under 4 18W fuoros, 2x cool, 2x warm, temp controlled to 29C by a thermostat and two computer fans, with passive intakes and a heat mat set on 30C.




I am currently re-designing my flowering "closet"(1.2mx1.5mx2m) to house my new cool tube and better ventilation so I can keep the door closed during lights on(closet is in an A/C room) as the ambient temp outside is usually above 30C during the day. I will also have another thermostat controlling the temps, hopefully...

Feel free to comment or post a suggestion, money is still pretty tight at the moment so upgrades will be done as funds permit.

Okay update, I had a lot of problems cloning so I just threw the two confirmed females into flower. Got more seeds (northern lights) coming soon.

This photo is about 2 weeks into flower. I forgot to take photos for about 4 weeks hence the big gap in time. There were 2 confirmed females (pre-flowers), I can't clone for shit so I thought fuck it I'll throw 'em into flower...tossed the rest and bought more seeds.

Still running DM Gold @ 1400ppm-5.8pH, with H2O2 @ 1ml/L every 3 days

I'm not in any rush so I will probably let them go for 9 weeks.

Hopefully they should be the perfect x-mas present to myself

About Week 7

Okay final days are approaching...

Starting to get a couple of 'nanas so I've decided to harvest tomorrow morning. No flush, no dark-period and no bullshit. Chop,dry,smoke.

They are about nine weeks into flower and this is my first "successful" grow. I've had my fair share of problems along the way but I'm happy with the results.

I have northern lights growing from seed so that will be next after a few changes to the flowering closet. Heat is my main issue because of where I live (tropics) so air con is mandatory, but I need to install my cooltube so I don't have to remember to shut the door each day. Which will solve my second issue.

I'll post total wet and dry weights when I get them.

That's awesome man! That's a nice christmas present for yourself and only off two plants! i would kill for that. I just got done harvesting and got shit off it but your setup is sweet. Keep it up im looking forward to hearing the dry weight

Thanks for the comments lunbox, I had doubts as to weather I would actually make it or not but, voila. The smoke isn't the best I've had but its not shit either. Just knowing I grew it makes better...

Anywayz I ended up with 5 1/2 zips dry weight, so I'm happy as a pig in shit as they say. Keep an eye out for my next grow (northern lights) which will hopefully be a SoG when I get the hang of cloning.
