Hight diffrence problem

I have 4 females 41 days old. The tallest is 16 inches. The shortest is 7 inches and the other two are I'd say 9 inches. So 3 of them are pretty close to the same hight but I have this giant out of control bitch. I'm afraid that by the time I'm ready to switch to flowering with the other 3 she'll be close to 30 inches tall... or more. I don't really have the room for a plant to be 60+ inches tall upon harvesting...

Right now Im placing no CFL's on top of her but only on the sides...

The other 3 have cfls above but none on the sides...

I'm hoping this will encourage the tall one to grow out, and the short ones to grow up.

Anybody have any tricks or tips?

Thanks.

yea man, just top the plant. you cut off the main cola, or the top grow site.
this will make the plant shorter, and stunt the growth for awhile. which allows for the other plants to catch up in heigth.

also when you do this, it will grow more colas....so u get more bud.
you should look up the " FIM method" this will give you like 6 or more new main heads. and alot more bud !

If you don't have a CFL right above the plant top, it will stretch uncontrollably. Topping is also something you might want to consider doing.

You are saying to put on right above it so its not reaching for the light? I didn't think about that. Thanks for the advice guys, Ill have to look into the topping...

if height is an issue, why are you waiting so long to flower? Aside from that, I would top the one, place something under the others if necessary, wait a week or so for it to recover, than flower right away.

Well, I have a 71 inch closet, so I guess I have some hight, but im only using cfls and not planing to upgrade to a HPS, so I'll be taking forever once they get really big, I dont want to run out of light for the size of the plants basicly.

Does that sound rational?

I know the big one is a little droopy but I think its her container, going to get them their final bigger containers this weekend, picked up some Sungrow #4 stuff that everyone talkes so much good stuff about... just gotta get some pots...

If you look on the bottom of the cabinet in the first pic you can see i toped that one already, thanks for the advice. I'll move lights later.

Here, have a look...
