so I'm mainly posting this thread to share my experiences with the boldt bags in actual use, and boldt bags as a company.
I'm being lazy on the pics right now but maybe later on I"ll get some uploaded of the actual bags.
first off, I use the 5 gal 3 bag set, 220 micron, 73, and 25.
I am an outdoor grower and all my hash is made from outdoor product, I've read and heard that indoor trichs have different sizes thus needing the use of different micron bags.... but in my experience as an outdoor grower, 73 micron is incredibly effective, and the 25 gets quite a bit too. 220 is all trash filtration obviously.
so these bags are ridiculously strong, the siding that holds the screen in place is secured with heavy duty stitching, you can really bounce the water around in these bagswithout worrying about damaging them. allows for much easier draining of the 25 micron bag (which is known to take several hours. ) though for my very very last run I will let the 25 micron drain SLOWLY so I can assure I haven't lost anything, but the runs before that I will do it fast.
so, boldt bags as a company, is incredibly supportive. I had a nasty tear in the 25 micron bag, sent them a picture of it stating how it was a small tear turned into a big tear, they understood and are shipping me a brand new 25 micron 5 gal bag, no reciept necessary, no need to send back the old bag either!!!
here's some of the 73 micron:
and the 25:
