my northern lights x big bud auto started a few days ago first leaves coming through cant wait for this girl to get bigger will put pics up when she does also germin a critical kush from barneys farm have read mixed reveiws on this but will give it my best effort and see what occurs hopefully the nlxbb will be ready for xmas fingers crossed any advice out there for a newbie was thinking of tying her down for light penetration and yield ??

I'm a firm believer in SCROG. And thats what I would recommend you look into. It essentially turns every bud site into a top cola, dramatically increasing yields and is very easy to do.

I would say northern lights big bud auto is one of the best autos I have grown. That heavy knock out indica stone, high yields, the only issue I had with them (grew 20 of them at once) was that most of them grew very tall, much taller than the majority of autos that I have grown.

What exactly did u do when your scrog'd budget buds??

I do everything scrog when its indoors. I just popped 2 blue auto mazars, 1 Purple kush auto and one afghan kush ryder last night. I now use a 39x39x78 tent with a aircooled 400 hps/mh, 8 inch ducting and fan and I use a 2 inch x 2 inch screen that is 36 x 36 inches. I'll post a pic of it tonight when i'm back around the grow

For the record. These are NOT my plants. i used google to show the poster what scrog was and what could be attained. I apologize for any confusion.

what light did you use to get that yield? and how many days start to finish? any "LST" or other methods, pot size? haha sorry for all the questions. im growing 6 of these bad boys under my 1000w hps. their just seedlings under the 400w MH for now..

I grew in a 5 gallon pot with coco pro and using Dutch pro nutes grow and bloom and using pk13/14 and explode late in flower to be honest I thought auto were meant to be shit so I didn't care as much for it as my photos but it surprised me I also used abit of magnecal and super thrive early on (very little) my lighting is 600w you will love everything about bio disel mass yield/strength/taste excellent goodluck

I didn't lst or anything as I was told they don't like to be cut because autos will be stunted because they are a quick grow you don't want to waste a week of potential growing by cutting the auto then wait for recovery, just let it grow in a big pot,my photos get topped twice and extreme lst lol
