Bio diesel mass is the best auto for yield and potency imo i pulled over 80g from one in a 5 gallon pot with coco using 600w also at to sweetooth is a high yielder but not as potent as bio look for autos that have minimal ruderalous in genes look at Kandy kush this is another great strain but go for bio you won't be disapointed i grow bio all the time now with my photos super easy and loves nutes:)

Dude, to grow a plant for end results and dedicate that much time and effort, price of a bean shouldn't be an issue. If your low on dough save up until you can get something you want, not what you can afford. Sorry if that comes off arrogant.

QFT get some coin together. plus don't count on a single bean to be a winner. to be honest get your setup together then plan on spending some more. it's a rewarding hobby that can pay for itself but I personally would aim for photoperiod plants.

you seem new, so I'd also recommend doing some honest reading about plant biology (there is good information on these sites but also a shit ton of misinformation, myths, and shitty hypothesis on the internet as well) as well as plan on making mistakes. Again, not trying to be a negative Nancy on you, I just want to give you a realistic expectation.

eta, I learned this the hard way and I want to aid others in not making the same mistakes.

ive grown 6 different autos and i just dont think paying 35 dollars for seeds is the way to go. i want to pull off a quick grow while i save money for ozone. the more i save now, the better weed i can grow later.

point taken tho, i should pick something i want and not whats cheapest.

Well the nice thing about non autos is multifaceted.
1.) no more buying ceeds, simply clone the plants and you can easily be on your way to a small sea of green
2.) higher potency. Autos will not be as potent as a non auto variety of similar genetic background. Adding non drug variants of cannabis will dilute the quality of what you are after.
3.) Yields will be higher, you can veg as long as you'd like
4.) energy bill, not running the Lights as much

Also nothing would be as disappointing as ordering one ceed and have it abort or fail. just my two cents. happy growing

edited to add if you are worried about odour, carbon filters are inexpensive and safer than ozone. plus of you are a small grow you can pick up ONA, for twenty bucks your odour worries will be no more

you bring up some good points. i never have really liked autos simply because i want more control over veg time. with autos you get what you get. no clones sucks too. i hate buying beans.

I started on dutch genetics but to be honest lost interest in flavor of the week, strain chasing.

What do I look for in a breeder?
I look for a breeder that releases tested, stable (not hermi prone) genetics. I tend to be partial to indica dominant strains, but I also want a breeder who lists the parental lineage of a strain. I also look for breeders who are involved in the community and available for questions should the need arise (it hasn't but if I have questions, I'd like to get in touch of someone who actually bred the strain, not some massive Dutch or Spanish operation, not that it is necessarily bad genetics).

Personally for me, I've grown G13, DNA, World of Seeds, Reserve Privada, TH Seeds, and Bodhi. Of that list, the only breeder getting my money in the future is Bodhi. Out of all the plants I've grown and seen in other gardens, Bodhi has me hooked. Shit, I wonder why I praise him as a breeder because its hard now just to get what I want, but I figure its good for the community to share their experiences.

Thoughts on my plants by breeder.
G13, not bad, yet nothing over the top in terms of quality. No issues with stability but far too much variation from a strain from my experience.
DNA/RP, good, solid genetics. plants pretty uniform albeit finiky (OG/OG18, Kosher, Holy Grail). Very good highs, flavors.
TH Seeds, eh. Nothing exciting. Had a couple Hogs herm on me due to stress (over fert).
Now Bodhi... I haven't seen so much vigour, trich production, stability and uniformity in ceed form before. In fact I hadn't seen what true vigour looked like until I moved on to Bodhi. Not only is his gear simply excellent, its affordable. Picked up 22 ceeds for something like $120 shipped.

There are other fantastic breeders out there doing their own thing. I'm interested in getting my hands on some 303, ACE, Cannabigoen, and Gage Green. I haven't heard a negative thing on these breeders.

Your mileage may vary, and opinions are like assholes, every one has one. Just my two cents and experience. Hope this helps

that was a thought of mine until I grew an auto and it was pure shit. I know a couple hacks of growers who grow autos and they simply don't stack up to photo genetics. Shit I couldn't even give my auto flowers away. went straight to the hash pile. That grower I know hadn't produced anything I'd ever purchase for myself or my friends. Between always relying on ceeds, time frame being as long as photoperiod plants, quality issues and output, autos have no place in my garden.

While my grow is small tent grow/closet veg area (seriously my whole closet is dedicated to plants) I now am staggering plants so I harvest something every few weeks as when space becomes available a new plant enters. This seems to work well for me. only issue is having plants of different heights which is solved by propping up new entries on empty planters until the stretch sets in. Small problem, easy solution.

where i live we only get swag filled with seeds. no mids and the dro is 20 bucks a gram. so even shitty autos beat the fuck out of the shit we buy. i might grow an auto just so ill have something to smoke in a couple months.

Whats the best thread on a perpetual grow?

Don't listen to people who ain't grown modern autos grow bio diesel mass and you won't be disapointed on potency or yield plant strait into 5gallon pot and it will be a beast like mine:)

An opinion isn't fact. If you are happy with your subpar auto flower hemp, good for you. I personally prefer having fire.

as far as perpetual grow, one basically staggers plants in the flower room. it started with some plants being quicker finishing and some taking longer. I have a veg area where clones and plants grow until either they are mature for flowering, or space becomes available. Its all based on one's setup, my veg area is a two tube 4 ft fluorescent. nothing fancy, but it is cheap on electricity, and with some nice tubes, works perfectly. I basically got the fixture for free ( they are very cheap) and bought the tubes for $20 if that.
