What do you do for light cycle? Are pepper plants like cannabis indoors where they need different light cycling?

the light cycle is 12/12 from seedlings, cannabis will do the same. I think I'll setup a smaller version for some cannabis.. this would produce too much stuff. its a 400 watt 10000k 10,000 kelvin metal halide bulb. burns the skin and eyes so one needs a tent,

If the peppers are on a 18/6 cycle will they produce peppers or no?

they might, 12/12 saves on electric and works ok

Yeah for sure Im just wondering. They would be on the same cycle as my medicinal plants so they would be under 18/6 when they're in veg...12/12 when I first hit flower...then I move down to 11/13 my last few weeks.
