That's what I was told. That the other Cups have sold out in advance but We've talked to people and they didn't even know it was coming. Yay for awesome promoting!

Denver sold out quick as fuck, but there were tons of people selling tickets on the street.
No idea how many people, if any, got ripped off buying shit tickets, but we were happy to have ours.
It took a little over 2 hours to get in the event. That was pretty extreme, but it was more than worth the wait.
I can't imagine michigans cup being anywhere as big as denvers. Most the people I've talked to about the
event didn't even know there was a high times cup in michigan again.
We will see, it should be a great party.

I've never been to one of these.. is it like the trade show that was just in Novi along with a strain contest or is it mainly strain testing/competition?

Who is "Great Lakes"?

I'm thinking about entering a Hybrid or Indica but don't even know what name I would use since I'm not a dispensary owner, just a caregiver. I've thought about using "Great Lakes Cannabis" for a name but I don't want to rip off someone else. I wouldn't be surprised if someone is already using it.

it was my understanding the judging and stuff will be Sunday. I will check on ticket status.

Thanks to the awesome selflessness and good charity of the owner of Iron Fist Genetics (formerly known as Golden Glove Genetics) I will be attending the Cup as a VIP. Hotel and tickets already paid for, just waiting for the time to pass now.

Seriously, I've never met anybody as charitable as the owner of that company. Thanks to him, I'll see you guys there! I am not affiliated with Iron Fist in any way. With that being said, support your local breeder! Especially this guy. Watching his facebook page you can see him CONSTANTLY giving stuff away to people who are in need. The guy isn't rich by any means. He struggles his ass off to keep his seed company afloat while hes flat busted broke and he still gives out way more than anybody I know. Not to mention, his genetics are top shelf all across the board.
