Alright, does anyone know if that 1988 skunk #1 is the same Skunk #1 that G-13 labs has now? G-13 labs says it is the infamous Skunk #1 that is used in so many of today's hybrids. I hope so, because they are sending me one of those seeds. If anyone has grown this strain, how easy is it really and how is the yield??

By the way, I think Super Silver Haze is the greatest strain EVER. Just my opinion and I have tried the real thing a few years back.

i hope not :wall:
I know they aren't the best smoke on earth or anything even close. But they should definitely have a category for autos so people like me who grow them have something other than grow journals and personal opinion to pick our strains from.

het the staff to paste it to the front page hobbes ;)

umm as for the autos i just really dont like there unstable genetics. but yes i see your point but you can see where im comming from to right?
i dont like the idea of bad genes making there ways further into the genepools of our favourite herb.

ummm i think to many breeders that know a thing or two realise the negatives outweigh the pros so theres no point promoting them to hard theres always going to be a few ppl who want them and it there will always be some around but yeah with autos you may get a good few runs but the genes will play up in most cases, there to unstable.

i mean they could hold comps but there wouldnt be much competition there would there.

sorry im glad this is a fad that isnt catching on to much.

though if someone could breed auto's over a few generations in a family to always be potent and that kinda like how ruderalis came to be ad things of the sort over many years but with controlled potent crosses... then there could be some good use IF CONTROLLED.

plus what if you had some prized genetics that got pollinated by the shitty genetics of an auto... pretty sad id bet. but again they serve there purpose. look around im sure there has to be some... apparently mitey mite is good

I completely see your point... Especially about dirtying up the genepool, because that's definitely something that nobody would want.

but just because it isn't THE best... Doesn't mean there shouldn't be a separate category for it... You feel me on that right?

especially because we have diesel ryder boasting between 17-21%THC by the breeders. Someone should test/compete THAT shit...

yeah i already said i agree with that earlier bro hehe :)

but the problem is people arent educated on these things well enough and unknowing growers may contaminate someon elses plants and genepools. i wish someone wuld do it with some good genetics breed for pottent/stable genetics then it would be a bit more acceptable if ya know what i mean...

mor times the first generation are good but if you were to work on them yourself you will see the instabilities showing eventually
