My wife just gave me the thumbs up to go to Seattle. I'm excited but I don't no anyone out there. Does anyone know of any meet ups happening at the cannabis cup? Or is anyone here going? Is there anyone from the area who can give me tips on where to go, where not to? Anything?

Hey man, im new to Seattle and Cannaland rly but Im as involved as I can be in the scene and id be happy to help anyway I can.

Im in Seattle and assuming work cooperates im sure ill be attending

just don't be shy and roll in with your own... you'll make friends... BS with every dispensary/seed shop there you'll not need to smoke your own.

For sure. I mean ive been a patient for almost a year now and have hit alot of dispensaries....But Hemp Fest? Cannabis Cup? Ive got some prep to do :hump::hump::hump::hump:

^^^ glad you got your rec... I'd be afraid to smoke at hempfest this year IF I were under 21. I know they have never fucked with folks before, but now they can get money for MIP's under the LCB's baby 502, don't think they won't!!

Its kind of scary Im going out there by my self, never been on the west coast, the nearest family member or person that I know is about 2300 miles away. Thats why I was trying to make some kind of connection with anyone thats gonna be out there or is from out there, on where to go? where not to go? how the laws work out there? do I need a car? what Hotel to stay at?vhave someone to smoke with and have good conversations and at the end make a friend out there.

Im not trying to be weird but I hope you guys get what Im saying

I totally get what your saying! Im happy to help where I can and when time comes maybe meet up...im also a scatterbrain might not work. Regardless im happy to help.

To start what are the dates of your travel? How long will you be in Seattle? Are you just coming here for cannacup or are you trying to have scenery as well? Rough Age? And probably a rough budget for your nightly hotel cost. I work for one downtown and might even be able to hook up a discounted room (if its worth it).

Yeah Im way to into the scene to not cover myself legally. Im over 21 but I wouldn't feel comfortable if I wasnt either. Its like drinking underage, you dont want to go out and do it right in the face of the public. I probably wont even feel comfortable as a patient ><

Not as far as I know... they will turn you away at door only Washington State Patients have access to dispensaries as it stands... I work at hempfest every year the edgewater hotel is very pricey there are plenty of other hotels in seattle near (pier 70 //Myrtle Edwards Park) with better rates save yourself the $$$ and take a bus to the Park or Cab it.. I live in seattle I would know

I dont know but I would imagine local bigger name dispensaries are trying to get in on having a little booth set up. I also expect to see every little new gadget in the pot smoking word. Im looking forward to it!

There will be a few seed vendors... some bushy old guy told me a couple months ago he'd be there, the locals NW47 group I think is there, TGA was there last year but not selling seeds (in the open anyways, I'm sure Mr robert was selling em, why not).
