i haven't really seen anyone report on this breeder other than me which is a shame as their crazy potent haze x skunk #1 is the best thing i've ever smoked that was grown indoors and is even more potent than the trippy and EXTRA visual california grown columbian gold that i started out on and that made me a total pot snob.
this is some IBL style gear that will kick your ass & give you the room spinning dizzies if you abuse it. i DID get visuals on it the 1st time i blazed 3 quick ones and started to get the dizzies.
it's buzz is super motivational. it put me on a diet when i started losing interest in eating and ignoring hunger pangs as well as got me to quit drinking beer cold turkey. it's also very creative & even social. it's the first buzz i had in a long time i wanted to go bar hopping for poonanny on.
i wasn't so much a fan of it's mild, but still yucky, cigar wrapper with hints of ashtray flavor. fans of blunts (WHY?!!!!!) would love the flavor, though it's less objectionable than disgusting diesel & catpiss or even dry heaves inducing licorice flavored durban poison.
it's a slower & stretchier growing strain you could get decent yield out of with some topping. i started flowering it early at the 3rd leafset and topped it, but it was just starting to really flower when i'd harvest my C99s. it has a really cool "small SINGLE bud every couple inches" budding pattern that would make harvesting easier and especially work nicely with SCROGging.
it leans more towards indica than nirvana's discontinued H19 skunk, but it's buzz is anything BUT skunk #1 stoney! i'd like to eventually find or even breed a strain that maybe tastes a little better along the lines of delicious grape flavored super cali haze or that is even more visual, but those are minor quibbles when this strain kicks so much ass, evencompared to delicious, but too racy to sit still on and clear headed to trip on tunes with ORIGINAL kali mist or midly psychoactive, but yucky licorice durban poison. it's THAT GOOD!
the buzz is also so long lasting, you still feel it the next day a little and it eventually builds up in your system leaving you with low grade nausea. maybe it was due in part from fasting, but it had a little of that room spinning dizzy quality i think was more toxic induced. it was only really noticeable when not busy doing something and that shit keeps you occupied!
i'd like to try their thai skunk and see if THAT'S more visual or maybe tastes better.
until i try something better, it's my favorite strain to smoke for it's potency & high levels of psychoactivity
short stuff's super cali haze is less trippy, but doesn't lead eye either, and is super delicious and 8 miles high by mandala is REALLY fun & indoor friendly, but i'm after the best buzz 1st and so far, haze skunk is it. i'm sure there are indoor strains out there that are better, but i haven't tried them YET. maybe fruity thai is trippier or some other haze, but this is more than good enough for someone like me that was spoiled by almighty columbian gold back in the good old days.
