High Humidity when lights turn off?

Yea, possibly. But you don't want a delay where the heater takes too long to heat up (if it wasn't on) after the lights go off and temp has to fall far enough for it to kick on. Then you'll still have that cold/humidity spike. If that makes sense.

I wouldn't even suggest a blower style. I'd suggest an oil filled radiator style. They're efficient, and probably safer than something with a hot element or coil. But they don't heat up as quickly. So maybe set it to come on (and make sure the temp is set so that it actually starts warming up) before the lights go and and temp drops/rh rises.
I don't know your environment, so you'll have to figure out if a dehu. might actually serve better, and come on quicker. They tend to put out the warm/dryer air pretty quickly after the machine starts and the compressor goes to work.

Hope any of that helps, haha. Those inkbird thermostat, or hygrostats are pretty good for the money too, to control devices. They either control both a heating and cooling device, or humidifier and dehumidifier device with the one controller, respectively.

Man , I am surprised no one has said this but firstly get one of those little combined temp/humidity units and put it in the garage- then you will know exactly what you are dealing with in there, if you are sucking in air from a warm dryish room you should be fine with decent exhaust coming out of the tent. I use this thing for my outside veg tent. Works a treat. drop the sensor in the tent and the display will show you the difference between tent and garage, but yeah get the 67 controller, they rock!

Your surprised that no one mentioned a thermometer, really?
Maybe I've misunderstood but the op already has some and knows the temps and humidity?

@2com I didn't recommend a blow heater, but the op has one and it will/does work, I've used blow and convection heaters without any problems ironically i've never ever used a oil heater.

I said that because OP only mentioned the tent temp and humidity and was wondering if the garage was causing the problem, yeah we are both guessing if OP has done a measurement , maybe let him reply on that :)

Thanks guys, I ordered the 67 remote for my fans. And it's not a dehumidifier issue I had a huge one running outside my tent and didn't make a difference in the hunidity. So its def the temp drop making it rise when lights off. I order that little plug in heater, I will hang in the middle of plants away from them and have it come on 30 minutes before lights shut off and see if that does it and that 67 remote should do the trick as well. I appreciate all the feedback but I will take all you give. I want to grow the best and so far it's looking so good. I will have to lost pics of my entire set up when I get off work and show you boys. I'm trying my first time ever LST. She is looking good. Sweet Tooth X Gorilla Glue.

Hey fellas I got this 67 ac infinity remote. I got it all set up. Only question is when I am running in Auto mode where I set up my high temp, low temp and high humidity and low humidity. The in take fan and out take fan both stay on the same speed? Is that correct I have really seen the fans decrease or increase depending 9n temp and humidity they just consistently run or what? Please help

Well fellas this remote is pretty badass. I don't like having intake fan and exhaust fan hooked up to it. I just keep exhaust hooked up and let it run its course and just control intake as needed. I really just opened a bottom flap for fresh air to come in.

Yeah, I use a controller 67 + ac cloud infinity now as well. It's pretty rad, night and day difference in airflow and temp + humidity control as compared to my last grow with a knock-off cheapo fan from amazon.

One tip is to set your off speed so that rather than zero speed, your fan will always be going a little bit. This will keep your air exchanging and keep the odor down as you will utilize your carbon filter. I set mine to 4, and the temperature and humidity settings to slowly creep up as they go past the set point. It's rare to see it operating much higher than 8 or so.

Ok I had it set to one on off mode and 7 on on mode then I leave my setting on auto with all 4 triggers. But on the app I downloaded what do these setting do and do I need to mess with them?

And I turned off mode to 2 and on mode to max and mine stays around 7 or lower, i am in Ohio so a little chilly at night in my garage. So been having humidity spike around 65 with lights off but my temp drops about 55-60 degrees. I am going right now to purchase a oil heater yo put next to my flap I have open and run it about 70 degrees so low temp should be 70 and lights on around 78 and then will have to out my humidifier back in my tent and I should be good to go 12 12 cycle and get some buds on this Sweet Tooth x Gorilla Glue. So excited first grow in my first tent. Lol and everyone has been help so much. And I think I I it now boys! I will keep you all updated here in a few weeks when flowering starts.

The transition settings will change the behavior of the fan. Rather than going directly from the "off" speed to the "on" speed when your temperature or humidity thresholds are reached it will ramp the fan speed up. I have both of mine set to one up from off, so 2F or 2% RH. My thinking is that I don't necessarily want my fan to ramp immediately up to 10 when humidity goes from 60 to 62, that's unnecessary. But I do want my temp and RH to stay close to their settings, so I would rather have the fan ramp up quickly if humidity keeps spiraling. At that setting, every 2% RH over my target will turn up fan speed by 1, which does a great job controlling rh and temp.

I've also got an inkbird humidistat hooked up to a small humidifier in my tent and a large dehumifier outside. The humidifier kicks on at 3.5% rh below my target, the dehu kicks on at 7% over my target. The idea is that if it's 7% over, that means my lung room is surely too wet to be drying my tent off any more. The dehu will lower lung room's rh enough to get my tent rh down, and the fan will be blowing at near max to quickly cycle the air.

Here's 24 hours in my flower tent, I've got my controller 67 set to 76F / 60% rh and my inkbird at 60 with 3.5% down to turn on humidifer and 7% above to turn on dehu. It does a pretty good job, you can see where I turn down my AC for the evening (luckily for my girls I like it cold at night). My lights are at 75% right now, I'm hoping to keep my daytime temps below 83 at 100% lights. Being around 79 means my fans are running at 5 or 6 most of the time.

Good luck, man! It's harder in some ways than I thought it would be but easier in others. I just had a really trash tent that I should have binned months ago, but this one is looking a lot better. One of the big changes I made this time was actually getting the AC Infinity fan and the controller 67, which has made it so much easier to maintain low temps and the proper humidity.

Cool I really appreciate that, this thing is amazing. Now I got it all when lights are on its about 75 with 52 percent hunidity and lights off its going to 63 temp and 56 humidity nothing over 60 anymore yay!!!!!!

Man my Temps and humidity are perfect so far for my plants first 12 hours of dark this controller and fans and this heater did the trick. I'm am so stoked!
