High humidity in grow tent

I’m running a 4x4 grow tent with a 1200w viparspectra led light and a 4 inch carbon filter. I have three fans and two dehumidifiers in the grow tent but i can’t seem to get the humidity below 70% during flower. The humidity where I live is around 80%. Does anyone have any ideas how I can lower my humidity to suitable flowering conditions?

What's your exhaust fan like? You should be pulling in alot of air in flower and pulling out the humid air.

Buy a bigger dehumidifier...I run a large one and control the entire basement and keep it around 50% RH.

Be really careful of PM at 70%...keep your fans circulating air on your plants 24/7.

You need a dehumidifier, preferably with a hose that leads to a nearby drain so you don't have to worry about dumping the resevoir. Keep it in the tent and make sure you cover the lights on it to keep it completely dark!

Your dehu won’t be able to work correctly if it is located inside the tent and you have an exhaust fan running.

You either need to put the dehu outside the tent and lower the humidity in the room the tent is intaking air from. Or, leave the dehu in the tent and connect your intake/exhaust to a thermostat so they only cycle on periodically when the temp gets too high, this will give the dehu a chance to lower the RH inside the tent.

Mine works like a charm inside the tent and keeps a constant humidity at exactly what I set it to. I also have an inline fan connected to a scrubber that vents out of the tent 24hrs a day creating negative pressure to keep the smell contained while exchanging the air all day long.

The air you are intaking must not have a high RH or your dehumidifier is lowering the RH of the air in the room the tent is located in.

If your tent was located in a room with high RH or say you had an intake bringing in fresh air from outside then you would have problems. It does not make sense to run a dehu if you are constantly exchanging the air. The same reason you wouldn’t run an A/C or CO2 with active intake/exhaust.

That's true, my tent is in the basement so the air isn't very humid. The humidity problems in my tent were 100% from the plants.
