high altitude growing

i live in the rocky mountains and was wondering if anyone knew the best strain for about 7,000ft. looking for a big producer and something really stoney, i have some la's out right now but i dont know how those are going to do. so any info would be really helpful. thanks and smoke on brothers.

i dont think altitude really makes a difference in growing except for the plants being closer to the sun than normal but as long as they are getting good sunlight most plants would b fine

I'd recommend below the tree line at LEAST 200 yards. The air pressure is way to low that high up. Plants don't take kindly to it.

yea it would.... the closer they are to the sun the more ultra violet (UV)
rays the plants will recive causeing more resin build up in the plant... witch is a good thing:mrgreen::mrgreen:

I also grow in the mountains.
I think the UV comment is correct.
Havent noticed much on the pressure.(maybe though, sound possible).
Do notice the almost instant temp change after dark.
When u get close to harvest may be a problem at that high. I am about 6780 so not as close to the sun.
I have Master Kush, a couple NYCD, and a shitload LowRider#2's. Poppin some easy sativa today.
Outdoor growin is a blast. First year for me. So lemme know how it goes for you.
