Hiding stuff inside laptop for airport checks

I know plenty of people talk about flying with their personal stash all the time, and have their own tips and tricks about hiding it on their body.. etc etc

I have to fly tomorrow and I am taking my laptop with me

what I have learned is that my laptop has an entire HDD bay that is empty because this model line has an option for a RAID configuration (using 2 drives) and my laptop doesnt have that option


so yea, If i stuff a half eight or something in there, double ziplocked, and put the panel back in, will I be safe?

what can those baggage scanners detect?... can they see a ziplock bag with organic material inside a laptop?

or should I just tape it to inside of my boxers?

In some places they have the new xray machines that can see through your clothing and provide an xray image of u naked. I personally wouldn't risk it as I seem to be the guilty looking one that is ALWAYS subject to random searches at the airport/ferry-port and that has included checking my laptop and removing panels etc that cover the ports.

They check laptops for bombs, so i dont think it would be the best idea

tape it to ur body as the scanners can see that shit in your laptop. I know as a friend tried that and they found it, anyways he got in shit so i wouldnt try this !!
